Milk Peda is a rich and creamy sweet treat made from milk, sugar, and milk powder, shaped into small balls and filled with chocolate.
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons Astra (or any similar margarine/butter)
- 130g milk powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- Chocolate balls or poppets (for filling)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Mixture: Heat the milk in a pan and add the sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
- Add Astra: Add the Astra (or butter) to the mixture and stir until it melts completely.
- Incorporate Milk Powder: Gradually add half of the milk powder and mix well, then add the remaining milk powder and stir until it forms a non-sticky dough.
- Shape the Balls: Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, break it into small portions and roll each into a ball. Place a chocolate ball or poppet in the center of each and shape it around the filling.
- Refrigerate: Place the balls in the refrigerator to set.
- Serve: Once chilled, serve and enjoy these delicious chocolate-filled treats!
